Welcome to my favorite room in my house! Did you know you could love your entryway?
Our entryway is a pretty good size, so I decided to have a little fun with it. I first built this bench - tutorial by Shanty2chic - and I had to finish the room around it. My inspiration came from my mother, which happens often - she has the best style! She had just painted a room in her house these two colors, and I followed suit.

Let's talk details, shall we? The first step was to paint, which is my least favorite part of each project, but is also the most effective. My husband and I painted two of the walls Onyx and the other two Edgecombe Gray - both by Benjamin Moore.

Then came the styling, which is obviously the best part! The pillow on the bench and the artwork on the shelf I got from Target, and the wooden pegs are from Amazon. The shelf, two small pots, and all the greenery came from Expressions Floral and Home Decor. The chalkboard wall is a 4' x 6' sheet of 3/4 inch plywood painted with chalk paint that we screwed into the studs.
